So who is colin anyway?
When I was a little boy, my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. She said, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Without hesitation, I said, “I love being creative, and I love people.” That simple truth became the foundation of my life’s work: creating extraordinary concepts that bring people joy. According to my mom, I haven’t been “working” for over 40 years.
I’ve spent my entire life immersed in creativity, turning bold ideas into tangible, unforgettable experiences. From designing, owning and managing some of New England’s most extraordinary restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and entertainment venues, to opening over fifty unique spaces from New Hampshire to Cape Cod, I’ve been privileged to live out my passion. My journey has taken me from studying at the Boston Architectural Center to becoming a licensed contractor and even earning a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest open-face sandwich!
Through it all, my mission has remained the same: to create experiences where people can connect, celebrate, and leave with lasting, feel-good memories. In a world where meaningful connection is more important than ever, I believe it’s our responsibility and job to put the X on ordinary and deliver the extraordinary.
Let’s reimagine what’s possible and build something unforgettable—together.
We Put the X on Ordinary.
At Extraordinary Concepts, we believe that places of assembly—restaurants, event spaces, and gathering spots—are more than just locations. They’re opportunities to bring people together, ignite connections, and create lasting memories. Our mission is simple yet profound: to inspire businesses to embrace innovation and deliver extraordinary guest experiences that go beyond what’s expected.

First, coffee with Colin. How do you like yours?
It’s very important for us to get to know and feel comfortable with one another. The process is an exciting, collaborative experience. We will become very close.
Before we begin every project, we start by identifying your objective(s). We then discuss the value of meeting these objectives and what it brings to you and your project. Once we have a conceptual agreement on the objectives, value, and methods to be used, we will provide a comprehensive proposal that will:
1. Summarize the agreed upon objectives and outcomes.
2. Determine what methods we will use to reach the agreed upon objectives.
3. Provide you with an investment and payment schedule to accomplish the agreed upon objectives.
